Cardboard series.
Had a bunch of boxes from various stuff, so decided to see what I can do with them. Browsed dA and found lots of drawings donw on cardboard. And so I joined
It was fun.
About the picture: at first the "eyes" where angry, but I decided to make this a more humoristic image and made the "eyes" curious or whatever their expression is. It could be a nightmare someone's having of a "monster" crawling in their room when they're asleep, or it could be an alien exploring new territories or...
Done with color and graphite pencils, white pastel pencil, dark pastels for the background and papercutter for carving on a piece of cardboard box in which my art supplies were delivered.
